KIDS FIRST CODING & ROBOTICS
21st of Februray:
The students of the 1st Experimental Pr. School of Alexandroupolis - Greece had their first try with the robot of Kids First Coding and Robotics, which we tried to transform into Simba.
They learned how to move the robot forwards, turn left and right.
They enjoyed it a lot!

About Project
Lion King is one of the children's favorite movie, that offers many interesting learning activities which combine Art, Music, Geography, ICT, Technology and Maths.
Pupils are going to watch the movie with a critical eye and “study” the morphology of the African Savanna, the dominating colours, the wildlife population and listen carefully to the songs.
Then they will work collaboratively to make their hymn to one of the songs of “Lion King I”, put key events in Simba’s life in correct order and talk about the “Circle of Life”. They will get into the magic world of coding, create board games and use robots to explore new things, raise their awareness and learn how to solve problems. Being creative using art will be also a very important part of this project. Using their imagination and different art techniques they will remake sets of the movie, masks and music instruments.
